Marguerite Moore Callaway is President of the Callaway Leadership Institute, an international leadership development company whose mission is to help current and aspiring leaders reach their full potential.
Using insights discovered while working with leaders and their teams for 35 years, Ms. Callaway has created a practical leadership development framework that results in more effective leaders: Effective 21st Century Leadership™. It focuses on the Leadership Work of Self, Reality, and Relationships.
Ms. Callaway’s life’s work has been to understand the conditions that foster leadership effectiveness and organizational success. She knows what works and what doesn’t. She’s a recognized expert in leadership development, systems thinking and strategic management, and human motivation in work settings. She has served on several company boards, and is a frequent speaker in domestic and international settings. She is a published author of three books.
Ms. Callaway has been a senior executive with two large US healthcare delivery systems, and is the Founder/President of Callaway Companies, which includes an international leadership development and management training company, an international management consultancy focused on the healthcare segment, and a multimedia communications production company. Her client roster includes companies in forty-six states in the USA, the UK, four African countries, and China.
A faculty member at Yale University’s School of Public Health and FPD in South Africa since 2005, Ms. Callaway has developed and delivered online and face-to-face leadership development and management training globally. In 2012, she assumed the role of Academic Director for International Healthcare Leadership Programs at Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Ms. Callaway is also a pioneer in business energetics, an emerging field of business theory and practical application that integrates recent discoveries from numerous scientific fields with traditional business constructs. Business energetics incorporates evidence from biology, behavioral sciences, and systems thinking with economic theory to create a comprehensive view of realty.
Traveling and working across the globe gives Ms. Callaway ample opportunities to continue her passion—the exploration of the qualities of living systems, human nature, creativity, and consciousness. Her personal code is "Work is love made visible."
